My name is Angela Gavello. A native of Torino, I live and work in the surrounding hills of the capital of Piedmont. I come from a family of farmers: my maternal grandparents farmed the land and produced high quality wines in the little town of Canelli, the renowned Moscato wine capital, in an area that lies between the Langhe and Monferrato.

This is My Story

My name is Angela Gavello. A native of Torino, I live and work in the surrounding hills of the capital of Piedmont. I come from a family of farmers: my maternal grandparents farmed the land and produced high quality wines in the little town of Canelli, the renowned Moscato wine capital, in an area that lies between the Langhe and Monferrato.
In 1993 I graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Torino. I have always had a passion for the natural history of my territory and the farmers who labor the land, focusing especially on food and drink of the highest quality.
Since 1999 I organize cultural-gastronomic itineraries in Piedmont: my aim is to create the best possible itineraries throughout our region so that my guests will take the greatest memories of their tours back home and spread the word about the excellencies of the Piedmontese culture, region and cuisine
IN-PIEMONTE was created as a loving testimony to our territory and its ancient culinary, wine and horticultural traditions. I believe in the intrinsic value of the human and naturalistic resources of my land and admire the will power, creativity and innovative spirit that have always been a trade mark of our people.
For the last fourteen years I have concentrated my efforts on catering to that special breed of traveler who enjoys all the good things that life has to offer. In my view, travelling is a great opportunity to learn more about ourselves, have full respect for the environment and our fellow human beings. Beyond modern fast-paced mass tourism there is a poetic way to travel that encourages intelligent, creative thinking. A banquet for the senses that forever remains in the memory of the traveler reminding us of our humanity and reclaiming our connection to mother earth.
