Morning: Meeting with an In-Piemonte English-speaking guide and driver. Transfer to the Langhe by minivan. Stop in the medieval town of Barolo with a visit to the Wine Museum (WI-MU). Arrival at the nearby village of Verduno, a small ancient village dominated by a seventeenth-century castle, property of the Savoy family and used as one of the royal court’s summer residences. Lunch in a typical Trattoria with a traditional Piedmontese menu.
Afternoon: Guided tour of a selected winery, including a Barolo and Barbaresco wine tasting. On the return, a stop in La Morra with a short walk through it’s medieval town center and visit the famous Belvedere panoramic point. Breathtaking view over the most prominent vineyards of Piedmont.
Evening: Return to accommodation and end of In-Piemonte services.
