H 10:30 am: Arrival in Bra

We start our tour in the town of Bra , which is a “jewel” of Baroque architecture, with a well-known local cheese seller and “affineur”. Here we will visit his aging rooms and their humble museum set up to explain the cheese making process. The visit ends with a degustation of 5, different cheeses from Piedmont followed by coffee break at traditional pastry shop

Afterwards we proceed to the core of Bra,where in 1986 the Slow Food International movement was born to promote/ support biodiversity and local wine-food traditions. Light lunch at guest leisure in suggested Osteria with a traditional Piedmont menu.

H 2:30pm : Tasting of chocolate

We continue on to the nearby quaint town of Cherasco where we will visit a local chocolate maker. Long before Switzerland and Belgium became famous for their chocolate, Piedmont in the 1600s was Europe’s chocolate capital.
