H 9:00 TURIN* Porta Nuova Railway station
Our guide and driver will welcome you to start this unique gourmet experience : 1 hour and a half driving Southwards to reach the UNESCO Langhe area.

H 10:30 am: Arrival in Bra
We start our tour in the town of Bra , which is a “jewel” of Baroque architecture, with a well-known local cheese seller and “affineur”. Here we will visit his aging rooms and their humble museum set up to explain the cheese making process. The visit ends with a degustation of 5, different cheeses from Piedmont followed by coffee break at traditional pastry shop

H 12:30 pm : Tasting of excellent
Afterwards we proceed to the core of Bra,where in 1986 the Slow Food International movement was born to promote/ support biodiversity and local wine-food traditions. Light lunch at guest leisure in suggested Osteria with a traditional Piedmont menu.

H 2:30pm : Tasting of chocolate
We continue on to the nearby quaint town of Cherasco where we will visit a local chocolate maker. Long before Switzerland and Belgium became famous for their chocolate, Piedmont in the 1600s was Europe’s chocolate capital. In Cherasco you will get to see some of the local specialties like gianduiotto being made followed by a degustation.

H 4:00 pm : Pollenzo - University of Gastronomic Sciences
We end our day by visiting the village of Pollenzo where the University of Gastronomic Sciences is situated. On its premises is the renowned Wine Bank, a vault where all the most important wines of Italy and especially Piedmont are kept. After a tour of the Wine Bank we finish with the tasting : you will be free to choose in a wide catalogue of first class wines and vintages from all over Italy!
